• Account data: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create your account.
• Role & profile data: the role you choose (job seeker or recruiter), and for job seekers, your uploaded resume and the skills and details we extract from it to personalise recommendations.
• Recruiter data: job postings you create, including company, location, description, and apply links.
• Usage data: your recent searches, jobs you view or apply to, and jobs you flag as stale or filled.
• Location / region data: we detect your country from your IP address (or, with your permission, your device location) so we can show jobs relevant to your region.
• Billing data: for paid plans, payment and subscription details are processed by our payment provider; we store only subscription status and identifiers, never full card details.
• Technical data: cookies and similar technologies needed to keep you signed in and remember preferences.

Your data is collected and processed in the following ways:

• Authentication: Google handles sign-in; we receive only the basic profile fields listed above.
• Resume parsing: uploaded resumes are stored in secure, access-controlled storage and processed by an AI service to extract skills and experience. We do not sell or publicly expose your resume.
• Live job crawling: when you search, we query public job sources (Indeed, Naukri, LinkedIn, and on Pro plans Shine & Monster) through a third-party crawling service to fetch fresh, region-relevant listings. We store only public listing metadata (title, company, location, link).
• Region detection: we read your country from network/edge headers or your IP address. If you click “Use my location”, your browser asks for permission and we convert the coordinates to a country code only — we do not store your precise coordinates.
• Personalisation & review engine: we use your skills and activity to rank and recommend jobs, and an AI review engine to flag stale or filled listings.

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your cookie-consent choice and region, and operate core features. Essential cookies are required for the site to function. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner, and you can clear cookies at any time in your browser settings.

We rely on trusted third parties to operate Aladdin Jobs:

• Google — authentication.
• Our cloud backend provider — database, authentication, and file storage.
• A web-crawling service — fetching public job listings.
• An AI service — resume parsing and job-quality review.
• Our payment provider — subscription billing.
• An IP geolocation service — region detection.

These providers process data only as needed to deliver their service to us.

We process data to provide and improve the service, personalise job recommendations, enforce usage limits (such as the 30-minute live-crawl cooldown for free job seekers), process payments, and keep the platform secure and free of spam.

We keep your account and profile data while your account is active. Resumes and personal data are deleted on account deletion. Scraped public job listings are retained and refreshed for relevance and may be removed when they become stale.

You can access, update, or delete your profile data at any time from your account, and you may request full account deletion. To exercise any data right or ask a question, contact us using the details below.
